Latin percussion lp480 traditional cabasa before lp created the lp afuche®/cabasa, only fragile cabasas existed. These were made from coconut shells and a lattice of seeds strung with wire. Lp created the lp traditional cabasa to replace these frail instruments. This modern version is crafted from high strength plastic for the shell, handle and beads, with tough nylon fiber for the bead stringing. The lp traditional cabasa yields a bright and lively sound with greater dynamic range and durability than its predecessor, yet with the same shape and playing feel. |
